Raw materials of continuous charcoal making stove

Continuous charcoal making stove can carbonize a variety of biomass materials, such as peanut shells, branches, bark, walnut shells, bagasse, coconut shells, palm shells, sawdust, etc. Before feeding, two requirements need to be noted.

  1. Size requirements. The material needs to be small and thin, the size should be below 10 cm, the smaller the material the better the charring effect. Materials with large volumes need to be processed in advance with a shredder, such as logs and branches.
  2. Humidity requirements. Controlling the humidity of the raw material below 20% can improve the carbonization efficiency. If the raw material is too wet, a dryer should be used to dry the raw material.

Preheating the machine

After turning on the continuous charcoal making stove, it takes about 1 hour to warm up the machine by using liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to ignite the machine, which requires 20-30kg of LPG per ignition.

Carbonizing materials

Preheating is completed when the preheating temperature reaches 280°-330° and the raw material is fed. After 20 minutes of charring, observe whether flammable gas is generated in the combustion cell. If flammable gas is produced, ignite the combustion chamber, the flammable gas will provide heat to char the material, no more LPG will be used.

Cooling and discharge

Cooling is required for discharge and to prevent spontaneous combustion. The continuous charcoal making stove is equipped with a double condenser, the charred material is discharged from the inside and the outside is filled with circulating water for cooling, the temperature of the final discharge is 30 degrees Celsius.

The purification equipment adopts the principle of air purification and uses waste peanut shells, shavings, etc. as a medium to filter the combustible gases generated inside the charring furnace and reduce pollution.

Compared with the original water purification, no clogging will occur, and it can also reduce sewage discharge and protect the environment. The flue gas filtering material uses peanut shells and shavings, and it can be replaced once every six months, which greatly saves energy.
