Raw materials of continuous carbonization furnace

Wood charcoal manufacturing process

Crushing and drying

Materials larger than 30mm need to be crushed first. If your materials are large logs or other materials whose size is larger than 30mm and you want to get the big size charcoal, you can choose a hoisting charcoal making machine or a horizontal charcoal machine. In addition, if the moisture of the raw material is higher than 25%, it needs to be dried with a dryer, such as fresh coconut shells or wood chips which both have a larger moisture content.

Pyrolysis of Wood

After the continuous carbonization furnaceis preheated, the dried materials are transported by conveyor belt to the main carbonization furnace for carbonization. When the temperature reaches 380 degrees Celsius, charcoal is produced. In addition to charcoal, there are combustible gases in the reactor. The exhaust gas is treated by the condenser and can be recycled and reused. In addition, some hot air will enter the dryer to provide heat.

Exhaust gas utilization

A part of the flue gas can be transported to the dryer through the pipeline for heating the dryer, and the remaining flue gas is discharged through a dust removal system such as water washing and water spraying.

Discharge wood charcoal

The charcoal will be discharged automatically at the end of the charcoal machine. Since the machine is equipped with a water-cooled discharger, which will make the final temperature of the charcoal is around 30 degrees.
